Kaiser star to play at NAIA school

Kaiser running back Isaac Saffery, the O'ahu Interscholastic Association White Offensive Player of the Year, signed a letter of intent to play football at NAIA Lambuth University in Jackson, Tenn., according to Kaiser coach Patrick Samsonas.
Samsonas added that defensive back Jake Esteban also has signed to play at Lambuth.
Other Cougars moving on include offensive lineman Brice Kahalewai, defensive lineman/fullback Tukia Aholelei, receiver Kelii Maikui and defensive back Thomas Khamvongsa will attend Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, Calif.
