The 15th annual I Love Kailua town party on Sunday, will include dozens of organizations and businesses celebrating the best the town has to offer, organizers said.

The celebration on Kailua Road from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. includes entertainment; arts, plants and handmade crafts for sale; and community information booths. It also includes a new Taste of Kailua event, including offerings by 20 restaurants.

With thousands of people expected, organizers strongly suggest that residents plan to walk or bicycle to the celebration and plan for extra time if they have to drive.

Funds raised will be used to replant trees along Mokapu Road.
