How Hawai'i Reps. Neil Abercrombie and Mazie Hirono and Sens. Daniel Akaka and Daniel K. Inouye voted in key legislation last week.

KEY HOUSE VOTES

1. Iraq War Supplemental Conference Report

The House on Wednesday passed, 218-208, the conference report for the Iraq war supplemental spending bill, setting up a veto showdown with the White House. The $124.2 billion spending bill would require President Bush to certify by July that the Iraqi government is making progress or begin an immediate withdrawal of U.S. troops.

KEY SENATE VOTES

1. Iraq War Supplemental Conference Report

The Senate on Thursday passed, 51-46, the 2007 war supplemental spending conference report in a party-line vote, with one Republican, Gordon Smith of Oregon, voting for it. The expected veto by President Bush would be only be the second of his presidency.
