Here's a painless way to help provide housing for the homeless: Daniel Ho and Herb Ohta Jr. give a concert at 1 p.m. tomorrow at St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Church, 720 N. King St., as a benefit for Family Promise, a transitional homeless project, and Habitat for Humanity, a program that enables the homeless and the needy to obtain permanent housing.
Tickets are $15 at the door; children younger than 12 are free; 845-2112.
Ho, a noted producer, composer, guitarist and 'ukulele stylist, won Grammy Awards for 2006's "Masters of Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar, Volume 1," and for 2007's "Legends of Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar — Live From Maui."
Ohta is a teacher, entertainer and producer who is a six-time Na Hoku Hanohano Award nominee and two-time Hawai'i Music Award winner. He is in the vanguard of a new generation of uke soloists.
