Thousands of books, CDs, DVDs, cassettes and VHS tapes will be on sale at the annual Kapolei Library Anniversary Book Sale Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The sale is sponsored by the Friends of the Library-Kapolei, and is being held on the lawn adjoining the library building.

Most adult hardbacks will sell for $2 and paperbacks for $1. Keiki and audio-visual materials range from 25 cents to $2.

Money raised is used to help the library pay for special programs for patrons of all ages as well as the purchase of special books.

A smaller ongoing book sale is accessible during regular Kapolei library hours.
