PA'IA
Parking lot work has begun

Advertiser Staff

Site Engineering Inc. this week began resurfacing the public parking lot on Baldwin Avenue above Mana Foods, the county reported. The $86,231 job includes installing a handicapped parking stall and accessibility ramp and modifying driveways.

Only one driveway at a time will be redone so motorists can still access the lot. About 75 percent of the parking stalls will still be available during most of the construction period, the county said. However, the entire lot will be closed Sept. 26 while temporary striping is put down.

The entire project is expected to be complete by Oct. 2.
