Apply to sing in falsetto competition

Is your falsetto good enough to win you a real recording contract?
The Aloha Festivals are accepting application for vocalists interested in competing in its annual Aloha Festivals Falsetto Contest. The first-place prize package for the contest's O'ahu winner includes a recording contract with Hula Records.
Hawaiian falsetto requires its performers to throw their voices into the upper vocal registers with songs that communicate stories of Hawaiian culture. Falsetto's Hawaiian roots date back to a time when Hawaiian women were forbidden to sing in public, which left men singing the high-pitched notes usually reserved for women.
Competitions will be held on four islands: O'ahu at the Sheraton Waikiki Resort's Kauai and Maui ballrooms on Sept. 28; Kaua'i at the Hilton Kauai Beach Resort on Sept. 7; the Big Island at the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel on Sept. 8; Maui at the McCoy Studio Theater at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center on Oct. 12.
In addition to the recording contract, O'ahu's first-place winner will receive $500, a weekend vacation for two and a $250 gift basket from Hawaiian Host Chocolates.
Additional prizes for O'ahu winners are:
