The University of Hawai'i-Manoa's Academy for Creative Media and the Korean Film Council will give a master class, open to the public, on the Korean film industry, at 3 p.m. today in Crawford Hall, room 115.

The master class features Jonathan H. Kim, producer of "Silmido" and "Virgin Snow"; Jooick Lee, CEO of Boram Entertainment and producer of "Seven Swords"; and Denise Hwang, Korean Film Council International department manager.

ACM partners with the Korean Film Council for the annual Filmmakers' Development Lab and UH Master Class. The lab offered the opportunity for five emerging filmmakers of Korean descent to work with mentors and present their projects in New York and Korea.

The master class will explore the emerging joint productions of the Korean Film Industry in Japan, China and the United States.
