Hawaii International Jazz Festival slated for Kane'ohe campus

The show must go on. And so the show — in this case, the Hawaii International Jazz Festival at Windward Community College — will go on despite the recent death of festival founder Abe Weinstein.
Performers include Jeff Peterson, the Honolulu Jazz Quartet, Abe Lagrimas Jr., DeShannon Higa, Bobby Thursby, David Choy, Kelly Covington and Gypsy Pacific. There'll be food booths, too.
It happens from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. tomorrow at the campus in Kane'ohe. Admission and parking are free. For information, see www.hawaiijazz.com.
