Dance to Romance — 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at Kahala Mall's center court — is a free preview of the Return to Romance Festival next month.

The Hawaii Jitterbugs will offer free swing dance lessons from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by free ballroom dance lessons by the Arthur Murray Dance School.

Matt Catingub on sax, Jeff Peterson on guitar (busy fellow is performing tomorrow, too; see story on this page), Steve Jones on bass and Darryl Pelligrini on drums start up at 2 p.m. The Matt Catingub Orchestra of Hawaii is hosting a number of performers at the romance festival's series of concerts.

And speaking of matters of the heart, there'll be free blood-pressure screenings from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the area between Macy's and Banana Republic.
