Quake loans total $25.5 Million

The U.S. Small Business Administration has approved more than $25.5 million in low-interest disaster loans in connection with the Oct. 15 earthquakes, SBA District Director Andrew K. Poepoe has announced.
The loans are available to homeowners, renters and businesses of all sizes provided they suffered damage in the quakes.
So far the agency has made 624 loans totaling more than $19.9 million to homeowners and renters, and 78 loans totaling $5.5 million to business owners.
The deadline to file Economic Injury Disaster Loan applications is July 23. For more information, call the SBA at (800) 659-2955.
