QuikSilverEdition Hawaiian Islands Vintage Surf Auction features vintage surfboards, left, art, Hawaiiana and surf memorabilia from the turn of the (last) century to the early '80s. Surf fans, history buffs: You might not want to miss this exhibit/auction because it's held only every other year. Proceeds benefit the Outrigger Duke Kahanamoku Foundation Scholarship Fund.
The auction/exhibit is held in conjunction with the Hawaii All-Collectors Show, which this year showcases Linda Lee's display of vintage Ming's jewelry, Hawai'i wrestling photos, early Hawaiian milk bottles, an exhibit of fluorescent minerals by The Rock & Mineral Society of Hawaii, and more. For those who just can't wait, early entry is at 2 p.m. July 20.

It's Asian comedy times four when "The Kims of Comedy" — below, from left, Dr. Ken, Kevin Shea, Bobby Lee and Steve Byrne — come to town. Lee, of Fox's Mad TV, has appeared in movies "Kickin' it Old School" and currently is filming "Pineapple Express." Dr. Ken has appeared on BET, Comedy Central, NBC's "The Office" and more. You may have seen Shea on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and Comedy Central's "Premium Blend" — or when he was here in March as part of the "Asian Kings of Comedy" tour. Bryne is the winner of MySpace's "Stand Up Sit Down" and can also be seen on NBC's "The Real Wedding Crashers."

The Hawaii Harmonica Society's 10th Annual Harmonica Recital showcases songs from the 1950s-'60s, waltzes, Japanese melodies and Hawaiian pieces. The recital features group performances by the Small World Harmonica Band, the Reed 21 Hawaii Harmonica Band and the Shinjuku Harmonica Band from Tokyo. Solo performances are by Robert Omura, the Rev. Mamoru Yamasaki and Homare Hoshi.

Hawaii Opera Theatre's 2007 summer season turns to the Rodgers and Hammerstein evergreen musical "South Pacific." Island songbird Marlene Sai, left, has the featured role of Bloody Mary, who sings the dramatic "Bali Hai."

'80s rock supergroup Asia, right, makes its way to O'ahu for its "Heat of the Moment" tour — also the name of the foursome's most popular song, which made its debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart. All four original members from the groups Yes, Emerson Lake and Palmer, King Crimson and The Buggles will be performing hits such as "Sole Survivor," "Time Again," "Wildest Dreams" and more. Asia's songs were featured in the films "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" and "The Matador."
