TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE
"Freaky Friday" (2003), 7 p.m., ABC; and/or "The Parent Trap" (1998), 6 and 9 p.m., ABC Family. It's time to cruise through Lindsay Lohan's movie career. There's "Parent Trap," which started it. She was 11, a veteran of commercials, when she played identical twins, trying to get their parents back together. And "Freaky Friday." Jamie Lee Curtis and Lohan play a mother and daughter, accidentally exchanging bodies. Then rent "Mean Girls" and "Prairie Home Companion" and more. Lohan has had some personal crises, but she's still a solid, working actress.
"Jim Gaffigan: Beyond the Pale" and "Kevin James: Sweat the Small Stuff," 5 and 6 p.m., Comedy Central. Here are two worthy standup reruns. Gaffigan — who recently did a stand-up gig at Blaisdell Concert Hall — is brilliant; James is casual and clever.
OF NOTE
"Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason" (2004), 5 p.m., TBS. This sequel doesn't match the 2001 original, but it has its moments. Watch Bridget (Renee Zellweger) explain to cellmates what's wrong with her guy. And watch the guys (Hugh Grant, Colin Firth) with their upper-class English version of a fistfight.
"Girl, Positive" (2007), 6 p.m., Lifetime. Andrea Bowen of "Desperate Housewives" gives a nicely understated performance as a teenager, caught up in worries about AIDS.
"The Unit," 7 p.m., CBS. This rerun has the team in Germany for a competition among counterterrorism units. When things turn deadly, it's clear that someone is turning this into actual terrorism.
"America's Got Talent," 7:30 and 9 p.m., NBC. The Tuesday and Wednesday editions are rerun, showing the second round, in Las Vegas.
"The 25 Most Memorable Swimsuit Moments," 8 p.m., E!. Here are lots of scenes with attractive people in swimwear. And yes, Lindsay Lohan is one of them.
"Saturday Night Live," 10:30 p.m., NBC. This rerun has Rainn Wilson ("The Office") as host, with music by Arcade Fire.
