Kaua'i Community Recycling Services will operate a new HI-5 bottle redemption center on Po'ipu Road next to the Koloa fire station.

The organization operates redemption centers at the Kekaha Landfill and in Hanalei.

The new center will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays and Thursdays, although customers are asked to arrive at least 30 minutes before the 4 p.m. closing.

Recyclable aluminum, glass and plastic containers should be clean and empty, and should be separated before being brought to the center.
