Nine Inch Nails, the industrial rock band led by Trent Reznor, has been confirmed for a Honolulu concert on Sept. 18 at Blaisdell Arena.
General ticket sales will begin 9 a.m. Aug. 4 at www.ticketmaster.com, by phone at 877-750-4400 and at Ticketmaster outlets.
Advance ticket sales for members of Nine Inch Nails' Spiral fan club begin Tuesday on the band's Web site http://nin.com/tour/.
Ticket prices are $52.50 for upper level seats and $55 for lower level seats and general admission floor.
Nine Inch Nails was formed in 1988 and has sold more than 12 million albums, according to a 2006 estimate from the Recording Industry Association of America. Reznor's outfit released a CD, "Year Zero," in March, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard album chart in May. USA Today characterized the CD, which describes a devolving world beset by violence and environmental devastation, as "a Matrix-like microcosm set to a pulverizing soundtrack."
The band's Honolulu date is currently the only United States stop on its Year Zero tour, arriving at the tail end of August and September concert stops in Europe, Israel, China, South Korea and Australia.
