Sixth Annual Official Star Trek Convention: With a new Star Trek movie in the works for late 2008, intergalactic gossip is all about William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy ... will the duo return as Capt. Kirk and Mr. Spock? More than 70 Star Trek celebrities will beam down for the convention, which hosts presentations, costume and trivia contests, Starfleet collectibles plus videos and previews of new sci-fi television shows, motion pictures, and news on the next Star Trek movie. Premiering will be a new Star Trek-themed animated feature film, "Borg War," by amateur filmmaker Geoffrey James. Hours: 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Thursday and Friday; 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, Las Vegas Hilton Hotel. Zero gravity in luxury: Travel company Virtuoso's space travel with Virgin Galactic begins in 2009, but budding astronauts can take a one-time zero-gravity flight package aboard G-Force One in Las Vegas. The aircraft is Zero-G's Boeing 727-200 that simulates weightlessness. The package includes two nights at the Bellagio Hotel, the Zero-G flight, a Zero-G flight suit, souvenir DVD and photo, welcome reception, zero-gravity safety briefing, Virgin Galactic party, flight certificate and airport transfers.   • Also, continuing at the Bellagio Gallery of fine Art through Jan. 14 is the exhibit "In The Master's Hands: Picasso's Ceramics, Treasures from the Estate of Pablo Picasso" displaying 30 of Picasso's rare ceramic creations. Benefactor Bernard Ruiz-Picasso, the artist's grandson, has been honored by the city of Las Vegas for his contribution to the city's cultural landscape. www.bellagio.com.
