Got advice, triumphs, tears or opinions to share with other moms? On HawaiiMoms.com, you'll find moms chatting online on dozens of topics. In one discussion thread, a mom who calls herself Oh Baby! in the Clothes and Beauty forum had this to say about girls who dress provocatively:

Never mind the teens, I'm still in shock over the little girls. I am in disbelief at how some of these 5-, 6-, 7-year olds are dressing. My little girl (4 years old) is not allowed to watch the cartoon 'Bratz' because they look so hoochie. ... I think today's fashion is way too revealing & inappropriate.

FINAL WORD

"A number of the artist statements were really from the sort of new-age end of the spectrum, and I'm not personally too sympathetic to that way of thinking."

Russell Ferguson | chairman of the Department of Art at UCLA, and curator of "Artists of Hawai'i 2007," when asked by Hawaii Public Radio if anything about his Hawai'i gig "rubbed him the wrong way."
