The Bishop Museum's Moonlight Mele series featuring A-list Island performers kicks off tonight on the Great Lawn with the Brothers Cazimero.

Before settling in for the duo's soaring, sweet harmonies, the audience can listen to cultural educators' ola (storytelling), buy dinner at food booths and win giveaways.

As at the Waikiki Shell, people should bring their own blankets and low-back chairs — but no coolers or alcohol. Gates open at 6 p.m. (5:30 p.m. for museum members).

Two more concerts are scheduled for this summer:

  • July 19: Jake Shimabukuro

  • Aug. 16: The Makaha Sons
