The highlight of the contest is the pro-am division. Many of the state's top professionals are expected to enter, including Duane DeSoto, Kekoa Uemura and Ned Snow.

Bodyboarders will compete in the Sandy Beach Pro tomorrow and Sunday at Sandy Beach. It is the opening event of the 2007 United States Bodyboarding Association National Championship Tour.

There will also be a professional division for women, and amateur divisions for youth competitors.
