Motorcycle fans can get their fill of all things fast and gleaming at Local Pride of the Islands, the first bike show put on by Ollie Boy Productions. It features 10 categories of competition for motorcycles and mopeds; some of the Islands' top shops, builders, riders and clothing lines; music by Kahiau and Irie Kane; a tattoo contest; prizes; and food.

It's happening from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow at Kapi'olani Community College. Admission is $15 general; free for kids 12 and younger with paying adult. 497-8907.

And then on Tuesday, there's Hawaiian Chopper magazine's third anniversary bash, with custom bikes, hot rods, Mondo Porras (of the Discovery Channel's "Biker Build-Off"), entertainment by the rocking blues group The Warren/McKay Project, Kalaeloa, Weldon Kekauoha and others, prizes and more. Food and drinks will be available, and attendees will be in a great spot to watch the fireworks over Honolulu Harbor, sponsored by Aloha Tower Marketplace, at 9 p.m.

Gates open at 6 p.m. at Aloha Tower Marketplace. Admission is $10 general; free for those 16 and younger with paying adult. 550-8457, www.honoluluboxoffice.com.
