Council OKs 2 city officials

The Big Island County Council has approved Kenneth Goodenow as the new deputy county clerk and Colleen Schrandt as legislative auditor.
Goodenow is a former state representative and had a private law practice in Hilo. He has also worked as the council's legal specialist.
Schrandt is a certified public accountant with a bachelor of science degree in business administration and accounting from California State University-Hayward. She has 15 years of accounting and auditing experience in the private and public sectors and has been an audit analyst with the legislative auditor's office since November 2005.
