UH reports rise in new season tickets

The University of Hawai'i has received deposits from 475 individuals for 1,745 new football season tickets, the athletic department announced Friday.
UH began taking $50 non-refundable deposits Monday for new season tickets. The Warriors will play seven home games at the 50,000-seat Aloha Stadium.
UH said it sold 1,489 new season tickets during the entire sales period prior to last season.
Season-ticket renewals also began by mail Monday, and several current season ticket holders have requested additional season tickets, UH said.
Following the completion of the renewal period in June, those who made deposits for new tickets will be contacted in the order received to secure seat assignments and finalize payment.
Renewals and deposits for new season tickets can be paid online at HawaiiAthletics.com and at the Stan Sheriff Center box office. Current season-ticket holders will be mailed renewal information. Those placing a deposit for new season tickets by Wednesday will receive two free tickets to one of the remaining 2007 regular season home baseball games or men's volleyball matches and qualify for a chance to win a trip for two to Las Vegas.
