The No. 1 seeds all advanced to title matches yesterday at the Carlsmith Ball/Hawai'i High School Athletic Association Tennis Championships on Maui.

Top-seeded Skyler Tateishi and Kristin Lim, both from Punahou, won quarterfinal and semifinal matches, as did the No. 1 doubles teams of Alex Ching and Erik Shoji, and Ashley Ohira and Nicole Nakaoka — also both from Punahou.

Tateishi will face Matt Westmoreland of Island Pacific Academy in the boys singles final, while Lim will face Sara Yoshinaga of 'Iolani in the girls final.

Competition at the Wailea Tennis Center, Makena Prince courts and Kalama Park courts ends today.
