WAILUKU
Streets getting a housecleaning

Advertiser Staff

The streets of Wailuku town are getting a spring cleaning.

The Maui Redevelopment Agency hired PWC Hawaii to pressure-wash and power-scrub sidewalks; remove weeds, graffiti, stickers and litter; and deep-clean the police substation restrooms and rubbish containers on Market Street.

The work is being done from 5 to 10 a.m. and 5 to 10 p.m. weekends to minimize disruptions to businesses. Market Street will get the treatment this weekend, with Central Avenue next, followed by Church and Vineyard streets.

Main Street already has been done.
