The Buffanblu (22-7) were state runner-up to Konawaena last year and won state titles in 2005 and 2006.

The Interscholastic League of Honolulu's schedule has not been released. The girls basketball season is moving from spring to winter this school year.

Long Beach Poly is ranked No. 1 in the West.
