HAWAI'I KAI
Spooky tales for teens at library

Advertiser Staff

Lyn Ford, an Ohio storyteller, will present "Spookers & Haints: From gentle spookers to spine-tinglers ... just right for your listeners" at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow in the Hawai'i Kai Public Library's first-floor meeting room.

The program is appropriate for ages 12 and up and is sponsored by the Friends of the Library of Hawai'i and the University of Hawai'i Outreach College's Statewide Cultural Extension Program.

The first 50 kids at the storytelling session will receive a trick-or-treat bag.

Ford, a fourth-generation storyteller, is a mentor for the Thurber Center's Young Author's Writing Sessions and Camps.
