WAHIAWA
Leilehua High back to normal

Advertiser Staff

After a fight and rumors of weapons on campus last week, Leilehua High School was back to normal yesterday, principal Aloha Coleman said.

Because of the rumors — which were unsubstantiated and stemmed from a fight on Thursday — the school allowed students to stay home Friday and yesterday. The school also had a police officer on campus yesterday, and the military sent a couple of personnel to the school at various times of the day, Coleman said.

The school has a large number of military students.

Coleman said about half the student body went home on Friday and estimated that about 80 percent of students came to school yesterday.
