CASTLE & COOKE HOMES HAWAII

Mary Hakoda, former principal broker of Island of Lana'i Properties, has been promoted to vice president of sales at Castle & Cooke Homes Hawaii. Hakoda will now oversee the sales operations for Castle & Cooke on all islands.

Sue Murray has been promoted to principal broker of Island of Lana'i Properties. She had served as broker-in-charge for Island of Lana'i Properties since December 2005.

Garrett Furukido has been named director of residential development, a newly created position responsible for special projects and project management on O'ahu, the Big Island and Lana'i. Furukido formerly served as director of project sales.

SMG HAWAI'I

SMG Hawai'i has announced the promotion of Lee Conching as associate director of sales service and support at the Hawai'i Convention Center. In his new role, Conching will increase his support of the North America regional sales effort, while maintaining responsibility for local sales and client services. Conching has worked at Bishop Museum, Sheraton Hotels Hawaii, Hilton Hotels Hawaii, the Intercontinental Maui and the Intercontinental Seoul in Korea.

Embassy Suites-Waikiki Beach Walk has hired Milton Lafitaga as product manager, where he is responsible for effectively communicating the most current information about the resort's products and services.
