KEY Project, a community resource center, will get a $125,000 grant-in-aid for facility improvements for its kitchen and classrooms.
Gov. Linda Lingle released the grant earlier this month and the projects are expected to be completed in June 2008.
Renovations to the kitchen will allow it to become a certified commercial food preparation facility that can be used for an internship program for culinary arts students.
The grant also will fund the reconfiguration of the second-floor classroom space for a computer learning center to support KEY's computer literacy and job training programs for youths and adults.
