The Hard Rock Cafe Honolulu hosts a fundraiser at 5 p.m. today to help defray medical expenses for retired lifeguard captain Ivan Harada, who recently underwent liver transplant surgery. A $50 donation, which includes food and festivities, is suggested. Guests will have the opportunity to participate in a silent auction, complete with chances to bid on golf clubs, surfboards, Hard Rock merchandise and dining certificates. Additional prizes will be raffled off throughout the evening.
