Habitat for Humanity Leeward O'ahu has announced the third home in 2007 to be dedicated to a local family on the Wai'anae Coast.

After a year of hard work to build their new home, and with the help of hundreds of volunteers, the Lopes family of seven will receive the keys to their new Habitat home on Haleakala Avenue in Nanakuli on Saturday.

"It's a prayer that has been answered," said Noe Lopes of her family's new home.

The family broke ground on their new home in August of 2006.

The family and volunteers worked every Saturday to complete it.
