AMERICAN LUNG ASSOCIATION
Beth-Ann Kozlovich, well-known host of Hawai'i Public Radio's "Town Square" public affairs program, has been named development director for The American Lung Association of Hawai'i. In the position, she will oversee fundraising and develop an annual giving campaign. Kozlovich has been director of marketing with Sterling & Tucker law firm since 2005. Her community volunteer service includes the Honolulu Community Media Council (chair, 2004-06); American Cancer Society; American Heart Association; Honolulu Waldorf School; Honolulu Symphony and Hawai'i Vocal Arts Ensemble. She will continue to produce and host "Town Square."
SALES & MARKETING EXECUTIVES INTERNATIONAL
The Honolulu chapter of Sales & Marketing Executives International has announced officers of its 2007-08 board of directors: president, David C. Livingston, an Edward Jones financial adviser; vice president/president-elect, Dave Erdman, president of PacRim Marketing Group Inc.; treasurer, Michael Curtis, chair, SMEI Sales Person of the Year Committee; secretary, Kealii Fisette, Oceanic Time Warner Business Class, commercial sales manager, O'ahu, and member Distinguished Sales and Marketing Awards Committee; immediate past president, Richard Emery, president, Hawai'i First Inc., and chair for the 2008 SMEI Convention. Also returning to the more than 100-member organization of local sales and marketing executives after a one-year hiatus is executive director Stephanie Uyeda, who was executive director from December 2004 to July 2006.
SHIOI CONSTRUCTION INC.
Shioi Construction Inc. has promoted Michael D. Goodnight from vice president to executive vice president, as well as adding him to the company's board of directors. He will continue to manage Creative Partition Systems, the company's drywall, plastering and light gauge steel framing division. Goodnight, with Shioi since 1992 — and in the drywall trades for 28 years — will continue to be based in the firm's Kaua'i office. Since joining Shioi, he has helped manage various projects, including the main Kaua'i Police Facility/Emergency Operating Center/Office of the Prosecuting Attorney; Kapolei Village IV on O'ahu, as well as earthquake repair work at the Mauna Lani Resort.
