Honolulu's Harlan Lim never dreamed this day would come.
Lim won Week 2 of the Pigskin Picks contest by correctly picking the winners of all 15 games.
"The first couple times (playing Pigskin Picks six years ago) I barely made half (correct)," said Lim, 51, a customer service agent for Aloha Airlines. "I checked scores and thought I got chance," he said.
At 5:50 the next morning he got the call from KSSK radio personalities Michael W. Perry and Larry Price, who announce the winner Monday mornings.
"He (Price) said, 'Do you know who this is?' (I said) 'I have a feeling because no one else would call me this early,' " Lim said.
"I couldn't believe it so I turned on the radio. Then I heard my voice, and said, 'OK, it wasn't a dream.' "
As the winner of Pigskin Picks (print version), Lim wins a trip for two to Las Vegas and $500.
"I just got back from Vegas (Sept. 1)," said Lim, who spent four days at the California Hotel. "I try to go once a year."
He said he would take his father. "He paid for my last trip. We take turns paying," he said.
Lim picked upsets such as Washington over Boise State, Oregon over Michigan and Green Bay over Philadelphia in the NFL.
"From what I've seen from last year, Washington was pretty good and I knew Boise State had a new quarterback. As far as Michigan, Michigan was on a losing streak. Green Bay against Philadelphia? Philadelphia no mo' nothin'. Once they cut (former Hawai'i back) Nate Ilaoa I didn't like them."
