KOKE'E
Second fishing season in effect

A second open fishing season for rainbow trout at Pu'u Lua Reservoir in the Koke'e Public Fishing Area is now in effect, the Department of Land and Natural Resources announced.
There is no daily catch limit. Anglers must have a valid state freshwater game fishing license and can fish only between sunrise and sunset.
DLNR opened the second season because of a break in the water distribution system that supplies the reservoir, and officials want as much fish removed as possible. The system will be repaired in the near future, DLNR said.
Four-wheel-drive vehicles are recommended for driving to the area.
