The public is invited to attend a meeting with the Army to discuss the permanent stationing here of a Stryker brigade, beginning at 6:45 p.m. on Oct. 1 at Nanakuli High School.

Residents will be able to review the draft environmental impact statement as well as analyze related brigade activities, including equipment fielding, training and facilities construction.

Before the meeting — from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. — information stations with tabletop displays will also be available for those who want to hear specifics from Army representatives.
