Hawaii-based officers nominated for brigadier general

Two colonels based in Hawaii have been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general, the U.S. Department of Defense announced yesterday.
The nominees are Air Force Col. Joseph S. Ward Jr., who is currently serving as the comptroller, Headquarters U.S. Pacific Command, Camp H. M. Smith, and Air Force Col. Scott D. West, who is currently serving as the commander, 613th Air and Space Operations Center at Hickam Air Force Base.
