STILLWATER, Okla. — Oklahoma State basketball coach Sean Sutton has resigned under pressure after two seasons.
The university announced Sutton's resignation today and scheduled a news conference later in the day.
Athletic director Mike Holder met with Sutton yesterday to discuss the state of the program. The resignation comes almost two weeks after the Cowboys finished the season with a 17-16 record.
Sutton served as an assistant under father Eddie Sutton before taking the top job.
