Financial Literacy Fair set for Friday at Tamarind Park

Consumers can find out how to be more money-smart at Friday's "Financial Literacy Fair" at Tamarind Park at Bishop Square in downtown Honolulu (at the corner of King and Bishop streets).
Exhibitors will offer a wide variety of free financial literacy information to the general public.
The state Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs is sponsoring the fair, which will include information on: investor education, tracking down unclaimed bank accounts, college savings, elderly issues and more.
Those participating include: th State Executive Office of Aging's Sage PLUS and SMP Hawai'i Programs; University of Hawai'i at Manoa Cooperative Extension Office ; AARP-Hawai'i; Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Hawai'i Hawai'i Council on Economic Education; Hawai'i Home Ownership Center; Hawaiian Community Assets; Social Security Administration; and the U.S. Postal Service.
