Wai'anae rolls past No. 9 'Aiea, 11-3

Ben McQuown hit a three-run homer to spark a four-run first inning, and also pitched six innings, giving up three runs, to help host Wai'anae beat No. 9 'Aiea, 11-3, yesterday in an O'ahu Interscholastic Association Red West game.
McQuown also had a double and finished with four RBIs for the Seariders (4-4).
R.J. Tacgere-Bailey was 3 for 3 with triple and two RBIs, Kalei Hensley had two doubles and three RBIs, Ryan Manuel had two hits and Quintin Tiapula drove in two runs for Wai'anae.
Ricky Itagaki, Brennan Alejo and Keenan Naeole each had two hits for Na Ali'i (5-3).
