State adds job fairs for airline workers

The state Department of Labor and Industrial Relations will hold additional informational meetings and job fairs for workers from Aloha Airlines and ATA who lost their jobs this week.
The state's multi-agency "Rapid Response Team" will be on hand to provide a variety of services to the workers. The Honolulu briefings will be held on:
Tuesday, 9 to 10:30 a.m., at 830 Punchbowl St., Suites 310-314.
Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Blaisdell Center Exhibition Hall.
The state also announced statewide job fairs for the employees:
East Hawai'i: Hawai'i County Conference Room, 101 Pauahi St., Hilo, Tuesday, 9 a.m. to noon.
Honolulu: Blaisdell Center Exhibition Hall, Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Pearl City: Leeward Community College, Thursday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
West Hawai'i: King Kamehameha Hotel, Kailua-Kona, 9 a.m. to noon.
Moloka'i: Kulana 'Oiwi Halau, Kaunakakai, April 19, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Kaua'i: Kukui Grove Shopping Center, May 10, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
