A private contractor is repairing the drain pipe outfall at the end of Kamilonui Place this month.

The work began April 1 and is scheduled to be completed in May depending on the weather, said Leonard Leong of Royal Contracting Co., which will be installing a new head wall at the site.

Work hours are scheduled for 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Residents are advised to stay away from the area while construction is taking place.
