Kai helps U.S. women qualify for Olympics

CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico — Former Kahuku and University of Hawaii star Natasha Kai had two goals and an assist today, helping the U.S. women's soccer team qualify for the Beijing Olympics.
Kai's feats all came in the second half as the U.S. beat Costa Rica 3-0 in the CONCACAF qualifying tournament semifinals.
The U.S. women will face the Canada-Mexico winner in the final Saturday. The two finalists get spots in the Olympics.
Kai opened the scoring in the 58th minute off Tobin Heath's cross, set up Heather O'Reilly's goal in the 73rd minute and scored her second goal in extra time.
