Citizen workshops start tomorrow, end April 16

The state Legislature's Public Access Room will host free "Informed Citizen" workshops at five Kaua'i locations beginning tomorrow (Thur) and continuing through April 16.

The workshops can help residents understand the legislative process and provide tips on how to get their community issues more attention without leaving the island.

Public Access Room coordinator Suzanne Marinelli will present the workshops:

Tomorrow: 5:30 - 7 p.m., Kapa'a Library conference room.

Friday: 5:30 - 7 p.m., Lihu'e Library conference room

Monday: 5 - 6:30 p.m., Kilauea Neighborhood Center.

Tuesday: 5:30 - 7 p.m., Koloa Library conference room.

April 16: 5:30 - 7 p.m., Waimea Neighborhood Center.
