Swim: Lochte sets world record in 100m IM at short-course worlds

MANCHESTER, England � Ryan Lochte of the United States has set a world record in the 100-meter individual medley at the short-course swimming world championships.
He finished in 51.25 seconds today.
Ryk Neethling of Hungary set the previous mark of 51.52 in 2005.
