A high surf advisory has been issued for the eastern shores of most of the Hawaiian Islands through 6 a.m. Wednesday morning.
The National Weather Service said surf will be 6 to 8 feet overnight along east-facing shores before raising to 7 to 10 feet today.
Elsewhere, surf will be 4 to 8 feet along northern shores and 2 to 4 feet along west and south shores.
The large, rough surf will continue along east facing shores through midweek. A pair of south swells are in store this week, producing small to moderate surf on Tuesday and Wednesday, and larger surf Thursday and Friday.
