KOLOA – The Koloa bottle-redemption center located next to the Koloa fire station on Po'ipu Road was closed Thursday due to inclement weather.

Weather permitting, the redemption center will reopen on Sunday. Normal operating hours at the Koloa facility are Thursdays and Sundays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with no break for lunch.

Other bottle redemption centers are located in Nawiliwili and at the Kaua'i Resource Center located on Ahukini Road near Lihu'e Airport.
