Baseball: Nationals place catcher Lo Duca on 15-day DL

MIAMI — The Washington Nationals placed catcher Paul Lo Duca on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to April 14, with a right hand injury tonight.
The Nationals reinstated right-hander Shawn Hill from a rehab assignment to start Saturday against Florida. He's been on the DL since March 20 with soreness in his right forearm.
Lo Duca hurt his hand when he was hit by a pitch from Jeff Bennett in a game Sunday against Atlanta.
"It just wasn't progressing, so hopefully it will get better and I can play in 10 days," Lo Duca said. "I just can't swing the bat aggressively. It even hurts swinging soft toss."
