Boards impose fines, take license actions

The Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs and its boards and commissions overseeing professions and vocations handed out $12,500 in fines and took several disciplinary actions in March.

The following actions were taken:

  • Maria L. Eidt agreed to a voluntary surrender of her nursing license with the Board of Nursing.

  • Anne M. Prendergast agreed to a voluntary suspension of her license for six months by the Board of Nursing.

  • Patrice Delaplane's license was revoked and a fine of $2,000 was imposed by the Board of Nursing.

  • Carolina Pharmacy Systems Inc., doing business as Countryside Pharmacy, agreed to a voluntary revocation of its permit with the Board of Nursing.

  • SVC Hawai'i LP and Gretchen I. Watson-Kabei were fined $2,000 by the Real Estate Commission.

  • Liana N. Ho Bullock was fined $500 by the Board of Examiners in Optometry.

  • Dr. Ronaldo B. Toledo's license was revoked by the Board of Medical Examiners.

  • Roger R. Alcain, doing business as R R Alcain Construction, agreed to have his license revoked by the Contractors License Board.

  • Raymond J. Camara, doing business as R.J. Camara Builder, was fined $5,000 by the Contractors License Board.

  • Leslie W. Brown was fined $500 by the Contractors License Board.

  • Sulimoa Taufalele, doing business as Menora Masonry, was fined $2,500 and ordered to pay $7,700 in restitution by the Contractors License Board.
