The Honolulu medical examiner's office has identified Tito Hyde, 5, as the child who died Friday night after being pulled unconscious from a swimming pool at a Kapalama location on Hala Drive.

Emergency Medical Services personnel responded at 7:42 p.m. Friday and took the boy to Kuakini Medical Center where he died.

An autopsy will be performed today.
