Rainbow Wahine reach MPSF water polo semifinals

Lisa van Raalte scored three goals — including one with 44 seconds to go — to help fifth-seeded Hawai'i to a 10-9 victory over No. 4 San Diego State today and a berth in the semifinals of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation women's water polo tournament at San Diego.
The Rainbow Wahine improved to 20-8 overall and plays top-seeded UCLA tomorrow.
Van Raalte's goal gave UH a 10-8 lead. SDSU's Anna Gonzales scored the final goal of the match with less than 30 seconds left.
Angela Turnbull and Leonie Van Der Molen each added two goals for the Rainbow Wahine. UH goalie Sara Gralitzer had 11 saves.
